Finance

The Minor in Finance is for non-finance majors and can be tailored to position students for a number of finance careers. The Minor requires the completion of 15-semester units (FIN3030 may be counted), though an additional course in corporate accounting and in statistics may be required. All courses must be completed before completing major degree requirements

Real Estate

The Minor in Real-Estate is for non-Real Estate majors pursuing a bachelor’s degree at Cal State LA and positions students for a broad variety of real estate careers. The minor meets the requirements to sit for the California Real Estate Salesperson Exam and the degree requirements to sit for the California Real Estate Brokers Exam (see CalBRE letter - however, you still need to complete all eight (8) statutory required college-level Real Estate courses before you are allowed to take the California Brokers Exam). The Minor requires the completion of 15-semester units (FIN 3030 may be counted as an elective). All courses must be completed prior to or concurrent with completing major degree requirements.
